Schools Liaison

Schools liaison provides information and advice to prospective students and their parents/guardians
on a wide range of issues concerning studying at College. We are proud of our positive links with
the surrounding schools and continue to work together to look at new ways to improve students'
experiences of Yeovil College.

School Visits

Yeovil College visits a number of schools in the Autumn Term to give talks on College life and the
courses and options it has to offer. These lively talks bring up all sorts of questions and can help you to

Attendance At School Careers Events

Yeovil College is represented at every major school careers event in the area, with expert staff on hand
to provide you with all the information you need about our courses, enrichment activities and support

Those Not Attending School

We are happy to discuss our courses and support for students who are not attending secondary school
on a full-time basis, who may be home tutored or attending a tuition/learning centre. Contact Schools

Year 11 Taster Day

Once you have an idea of the types of courses that could interest you, come to our Taster Day in
November, where you will have the chance to be a student for the day and experience the College and
its courses fi rst hand in a practical, informative way. No school uniform required! This year the Taster
Days will be held on Friday 14th November and Monday 17th November 2008. For details, please

Year 9 And Year 10 Gifted & Talented Days

We work closely with Yeovil schools to promote a Gifted and Talented provision in the local area,
offering you a challenging yet rewarding taster experience at Yeovil College in a range of subjects.
